By the way, London Transport is stupidly expensive. I live in zone 4, and a monthly travelcard would cost me about £80. An adult card in £120.That's a saving of £40 a month on the student card - $80.
And for those people waiting for a student card before they buy the travelcard, you're looking at £4 - $8 - every single journey, whether it's from Heathrow to Southgate (actually I think that's £5) or Leicester Square to Covent Garden.
Oystercard fucked up again, and of course, are refusing to refund the students who are losing out because their website, which incidentally is appallingly designed and maintained, hasn't been able to cope with students actually wanting a discount.
And people say the Olympic brand doesn't reflect the state of London today.
