Today I have given up against the flu and working from home. In bed. It's not so bad. I have Buffy season 3 to keep me company and a nice supply of juice.
Of course, Earshot has completely Jossed me and a whole lot of the MilliFrays. What kind of weirdo verse is it in which vampires are immune to telepathy? Blegh. Mind, this line really nicely struck a good chord with me today: Every single person down there is ignoring your pain because they're too busy with their own.
This weekend I both won and lost the internet. The people who say I won matter more to me, but because I'm me, the people who paint me as a malicious uncaring so-and-so are the ones that keep me up at night. Or they would, if I wasn't half asleep from headfog already. So it's nice to have that reminder from the Buffster that I can't take care of everyone and it's unreasonable for anyone to expect me to do so.
