By the way, London Transport is stupidly expensive. I live in zone 4, and a monthly travelcard would cost me about £80. An adult card in £120.That's a saving of £40 a month on the student card - $80

(For my own public transport gripes, I've discovered that if I buy a sandwich at National Airport instead of Pentagon City Mall on my way to class tonight, I save about $0.15 on travel costs for travelling the exact same distance. Granted, it's not a vast sum of money, but over the course of my ten-week class that's an extra single fare to somewhere.)
