Saturday I will be competing in my first open swim. 1 mile in Lake Placid. Exciting! I'm going up tomorrow with Molly to do a practice swim and meet the other 2 people from our team. the other night, I had a dream that my teeth started falling out. First, one got loose and just fell. Then, the one next to it fell out, too. It kept happening and there wa a lot of blood & it was horrifying. We put Scruffy to sleep today. it was the right thing to do, she was suffering and in pain. the woman at the humane society said it was the best thing we could do for her and i know that, i really do, but it doesn't make it any easier. she may have been my aunt's dog, but it was like she was ours.
