watched "Brokeback Mountain" at home by myself. You know how sometimes crying can feel so good? I love this movie even though it makes me feel so damn sad.

Oh, and Happy 27th Birthday Heath Ledger!

Hours later I'm still angry that "Brokeback Mountain" did not win the Oscar for Best Picture tonight. Hollywood had an opportunity to make a strong statement and it punted. I'll admit I haven't seen "Crash" and I'm sure it is a very good movie (everyone tells me so), but something about the Oscars just feels wrong. A great film is made about two ( Read more... )
