Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope everyone has had a good day....mine has been nice and lowkey.  Not sure how much I'm going to post here in the future, but we'll see!

I decided to come back here to LiveJournal after seeing my friend Clare has a blog.  So much has happened in the past year.  I am definitely happy to end 2008 and ring in 2009.  After my first semester at Baruch, I decided the MPA program was not for me.  That was disappointing.  However, it was probably the best decision since nonprofits are doing ( Read more... )

I hope everyone had a great holiday!  Mine was very nice, other than the fact that I am now sick.  Starting a few days before Christmas, I woke up every morning with a sore throat but felt better by later in the day.  However, on Christmas Eve I could tell that I was really getting sick and thought I felt some fluid in my ears.  Wouldn't you know ( Read more... )

oh my goodness, why am I so terrible at updating this thing?  Well, I am now officially a COLLEGE GRADUATE!!  yahoo!  That sounds so strange to say.....it's an odd feeling.  My last final was Thursday, and I'm still waiting on 2 grades to be posted, but I am pretty sure I will graduate summa cum laude (knock on wood ( Read more... )

that Julie, Kristin, and I went into the city last night to see Matt Nathanson again!  He was awesome, of course!  The show was at the Roseland Ballroom, which was a pretty interesting venue since it used to be a real ballroom.  Matt was opening for this artist none of us had ever heard of before called Martin Sexton.  We stuck around for a while ( Read more... )
