7 days til Christmas.....
oh my goodness, why am I so terrible at updating this thing? Well, I am now officially a COLLEGE GRADUATE!! yahoo! That sounds so strange to say.....it's an odd feeling. My last final was Thursday, and I'm still waiting on 2 grades to be posted, but I am pretty sure I will graduate summa cum laude (knock on wood). =)
What's happened since my last entry? let's see.....last Wednesday my mom and I went to see the Radio City Music Show which was SPECTACULAR!! We also saw the tree (the second time for me) and the windows at Saks, which were awesome! Friday night was game night at Julie's, with lots of yummy holiday cookies, mmmm. Then, Saturday we ended up going down to Delaware to see Paul and my Aunt and Uncle came up from Maryland for our annual Christmas luncheon. We were originally going to go on Sunday, but the forecast was bad with the snow, so it was changed at the last minute. I was kind of annoyed about that since I had to cancel babysitting on Amy at the last minute, but I got over it. It was nice to see them, and we always have lunch at this nice historic restaurant in Delaware City that has been around since like the war of 1812. crazy indeed. Sunday and Monday were pretty relaxing; I didn't really do much during the day other than sleep in and read. I saw Christine at Starbucks last night, which was nice since I hadn't seen her since oh gosh, I guess before the semester started.
Now I guess I'm basically just waiting for Christmas to come! ONE WEEK. Mom and I went to an Advent penance service last night at church, which was pretty nice. It was kind of like a mass without communion, and then they had individual confessions. Of course I'm too afraid to sit face to face so I had to go behind the screen. I hope everyone's doing well and I should definitely be writing more now that everything's over!
