Allow me to make a case for S/U, if you will, and introduce a way that their relationship could've been made stronger and more significant to Reboot's plot. What if, instead if Kirk and Spock beaming onto the Narada, it was Uhura and Spock who did so? I am being very nervous about this.

T'Pring is quite possibly my favorite female character from TOS. She's completely badass. She's also the reason Kirk and Spock hump each other on the ground, you know? So, if T'Pring is in the movie, I'll probably be very happy and melt into a puddle of squee. ( Unless they fuck it up. )
