When you place your hand by mine, I wonder: do you feel as I do?

Never have I wanted anything as much as I wanted to put my hand on yours, to just hold your hand in mine.

And yet, I hesitate. I don't want to risk what is for what might be. What might be is a very attractive prospect, but what we have is valuable to me as well.
