A lot of things have changed in my neighborhood in the last four years. Many of the friends with whom I grew up have moved out and/or gone off to college or the military. Fall semester started yesterday; I'm taking a full 15 credits this semester cuz I have to if I want to graduate in May and not borrow any more money; since I'm 1 credit short of being a senior I have to take the senior project class in the spring, which means I'll be taking 16 credits. Once again I'm forced to think about my priorities in life. I'm set to graduate in the spring with a BA in Theatre, Film & Video Production  and a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Colorado Denver. After that...well, I've been thinking about it a lot.

This has been a GREAT weekend in San Diego! The commissioning ceremony yesterday went very well, except for a generator going out and the PA was silent for a while. But we still got to tour the ship, which was pretty cool. Pat took us up on his "office", aka the flight deck. When the ship's in port he has a panoramic view of San Diego Bay. :D ( Read more... )
