Rather epic thunder/hailstorm early this morning. Damage seems to be minimal - a few broken daffodils, but the seedlings seem fine. I won't have to water for at least two days, anyhow. There are still snowdrifts of hailstones in the backyard ( Read more... )

Yesterday and the day before that I did a whole bunch to the kitchen. Moving stuff around, excavating stuff we need, throwing out stuff we don't. It's not done yet, but it's more practical than it was, and we have half a table back to use, rather than a patch the size of our chopping board.
