Driving through this lush spring-like area. Started with 4.5 hours to site. Alicia, Kit and I braved the early time. Kit and I mixed the glazes Sunday so that we would be able to use them Monday. They needed a 24 hour rest period. So Monday night, after I opened the first color, I got excited and grabbed the closest little pot and dunked it, forgetting to put the wax resist on the bottom so that the pottery wouldn't stick to the kiln shelves.
