2009-02-16 Glazing was fun.

Kit and I mixed the glazes Sunday so that we would be able to use them Monday. They needed a 24 hour rest period. So Monday night, after I opened the first color, I got excited and grabbed the closest little pot and dunked it, forgetting to put the wax resist on the bottom so that the pottery wouldn't stick to the kiln shelves. At that point I closed the glaze and grabbed the wax resist and started doing the bottoms of all the pottery. I did this to ensure that others would not make the same mistake that I did and just dip the whole thing.



then I proceeded to open each container and remix them and then painted them on the pots.

Tuesday night I started glazing the smaller paint dishes.
