I've been in talks with Tex about flute choir. Rehearsals will start next Monday evening, not too late thankfully, and we'll be in the basement of the band building. With this being our 30th anniversary of camp, I'm doing all sorts of things to commemorate it--including revamping the song I wrote for the 20th anniversary in 2006. I have a concert tomorrow, and as we have a guest conductor, we had a dress rehearsal last night in addition to our regular Monday evening rehearsal. I spent an hour working on the transcription last night. Oh, Lordy, what have I done? The thing moves so fast I can't catch most of it. The song is less than 40 measures long, which is hardly anything, really, but there's a lot crammed into it, and I'm not sure my recording caught all of it.
