The joy that is Chicago weather

Jan 12, 2005 19:55

This time last week, we were getting six inches of snow
Two days ago, we were threatened with an ice storm that really didn't materialize.
This morning, it was quite foggy. At my house, visibility was about half a mile. Across town, it was a quarter mile. By some of the fields on the way to work, it was less than an eighth of a mile--basically, zero.
It was sixty degrees out today. The mall turned on the air conditioning.
Right now, it is pouring rain. There's the possibility of thunderstorms as well.
In twenty-four hours, it is supposed to be almost sixty degrees cooler outside.
(There goes the thunder.)
You have to love it.
