Goodbye, fall
We had pleasant weather yesterday, but the cold weather is a-comin'. I felt it today, where I had to put a sweater over my sweater at work past a certain point. It was chilly in there, but because I didn't want to sweat out the room renters, I couldn't put the heat up any higher. They already dress in layers because sometimes the rooms are like saunas. Meanwhile, my workstation gets the gusts directly from the front door, so if it's held open for any length of time, I feel it. And it's still somewhat mild compared to what it will be--highs only in the upper 20s are coming in the next couple days. There are temperatures starting with 1s in the overnights. Brr. Not looking forward to that. We had such a mild fall that we've been on pace to have the warmest November on record, but that will be ruined after tomorrow. I'm looking forward to being home much of that time.
