Change in the weather
It didn't take a flip of the calendar page to realize it's fall. It's been cool all week. Strange, because last week was nice and warm. We've also had several days of gusty wind, too, so it's not just the air temperature that makes things chilly. And, of course, we know it'll get warm again before the month is out, so we're reluctant to turn on the heat, but gosh, it is not warm in the house. I'm considering pulling out my fingerless gloves. The thermostat said 66F, which isn't too bad really, but the air just feels so much colder. Mom tends to be the arbiter of heating and cooling, though, so we're leaving it to her. Dad and I just deal for the most part.
