I just wanted to share some misery with you all. It is really stinking hot right now, and someone in a truck outside the window is playing loud, whiny country music. Please drive away, person! Please don't make me shut my window!

I thought it was bothersome having a squirrel galloping back and forth across one's roof. I hadn't quite experienced a small team of full grown humans tromping about up there. Chimney upgrades, it seems.

I've been having great, productive days alternating with hide-under-the-covers, try-to-forget-all-the-stuff-to-do days. There is so much to be done and I'm feeling like I have to do it myself to justify being picky about it. So I'm staying up at my grandmother's for a few nights. She fell and hurt her knee and the hospital said she should have someone around all the time for a few days just in case.
