On Friday I left my mother and cousin to spend the morning sorting stuff, and went out to get some timber for what I hope will be the last bit of workshop furniture re-arrangement. I then spent much of the rest of the day working with saw and chisel.
On Saturday I made a relatively early quick visit to the timber merchant to get one more piece of wood. I then spent a bit of the day working with saw and chisel, but there were also a few bits of garden work that needed doing.
On Sunday I caught the usual radio club Net, briefly. Then we headed south to visit cousins near Robertsbridge. The traffic wasn't too bad, even through the roadworks near Pembury. Nor was the weather, and we spent a good sociable afternoon in their garden enjoying a barbecue. The only down-side, from my point of view, was the pollen level, which meant I was well-dosed in anti-histamine and still having to make use of anti-allergy eye-drops.
Today's plans were changed at short notice. We've had a quiet day. I spent quite a bit of the afternoon asleep, partly because of the pollen levels. A couple of friends dropped by one after the other during the afternoon.
I've made no progress with my workshop since Saturday, but I have more or less managed to maintain my Duolingo streak. Hopefully I'll get on with the workshop tomorrow.
