My last day at work was something of a damp fart. It started well enough, with me actually doing stuff. I can't remember much about what I did for the latter half of this week. Little of import happened at work. I need to start documenting procedures before I leave, as well as implementing a load of audio that keeps getting delayed because I haven't had the facilities to implement it properly, but I really can't motivate myself. My friend sent me a text message this morning to tell me that he'd reached level 65 with his Death Knight, from a starting level of 55, at 1am, roughly 24 hours after he started playing. I'm going to assume he was playing constantly for those 24 hours, and he'd been awake for about 16 hours before that, so that makes an impressive 40 hour stretch! ( Read more... )

Hmm, that's was another week at work, then. It hardly feels like I've been there for three weeks already. Time is slipping away from me again, like it did when I was doing my stressful office job. Still neglecting the journal. I'm forcing myself to work 10 hour days, though, as I need proper money. Not just 'enough to pay the rent', I want to not have to worry about it, like I did when I was working at Lionhead. I didn't pay much attention to my income at the time, but with the overtime, I was generally earning between £300-350 a week. Man ( Read more... )
