It's been announced that Kobato will end in about two chapters time. I've not got any detailed predictions for the ending, but I do predict (and hope) that it will end with Kobato staying with Fujimoto (and possibly becoming human) on earth rather than returning to heaven, and with Iryogi returning to human form and saying goodbye to Kobato.
