"please do not ruin this series with yet another bad ending"

Given their recent track record, I do fear this is impossible, but I would love to be proven wrong. lol

Yeah, I'm trying to be optimistic, but...T_T

It's hard to be optimistic after the TRC and HOLIC endings, so I understand >.<. I have lost a bit of my trust in CLAMP recently, so I really hope they don't mess up the ending...

If Fujimoto and Kobato won't be together in the end... then I'll sue them XD (not. But I would almost want to).

Yeah, if we have a bad ending for Kobato, I think that I will really lose my faith in CLAMP. XXXHolic and Tsubasa were two brilliant series that were nearly ruined by poor endings, and Gate 7 appears to be getting old before it's even really started. I just hope that I will have atleast some of my faith renewed with a decent ending for Kobato.

Still don't see how the recent endings are bad; I liked them. But this is just me. :P And yes, Fubato better freakin happen!!!!!!!

I don't think that the endings to XXXHolic and Tsubasa were BAD bad, just respectively flat and an anticlimax, and overly complicated and confusing. XXXHolic's ending felt like 'is this it? This is the moment that we have been building up to for 19 volumes and THIS IS IT?'. I just feel that it would have been better to have stopped after the events of volume 14, and then left what happened to Watanuki and his time as the shop owner to the readers imagination. And Tsubasa's ending and final plot twist was clever, but over the top and incredibly, incredibly confusing, as well as the main characters dying and coming back to life (and then dying again) about 3 times - it just stopped me taking Tsubasa seriously.

And yeah, roll on Fujibato! I'm counting on you!

True true, but this is how I see it, if you don't mind reading it. >///For tsubasa I understand what happened (damn you fanfiction! I HAD to to write it) and for me, the clones understood this and the real ones eventually did too, so they did what they could to stop it, which was sacrifice themselves. However, though it was painful, they know they will live on in memeory, so it gave them comfort before they died. In essence, they only died once. They just had lots of lives. XD ( ... )
