I found most of the missing emails. It seems to be some sort of glitch with AOL 9.1; I remembered I had an old AOL 9.0 disk, reinstalled it, and everything worked as expected.

However, somehow what got saved was an old version from the last time my computer died. That means all of my emails from January through last week are still gone, which is ( Read more... )

Dan's out of town this week, so I'm doing his ordering for him.

I tried to order six bottles of aloe vera juice.

Instead of six bottles, I apparently ordered six cases. Of twelve.

Six cases of twelve, for a grand total of seventy-two bottles of aloe vera juice.

Off to a bang up start.

Good News: Tomorrow is our "All Staff" Picnic. Most folks will be leaving work at 5:00 to go hang in the park, play frisbee and eat pizza.

Bad News: I'm not one of them (hence the quotes around "all staff"). For whatever reason, rather than close the store so that all staff could actually participate, they opted instead to go with a skeleton crew ( Read more... )
