So Google Code Jam 2010 is having its qualifications rounds this Friday starting at 4pm PST (assuming I got the timezones correct). While I won't be off work until probably 6:45ish, I'm planning on having a code party this Friday.

So I'm working home today so that I could be around for stuff to arrive. I now have a bed, no more airbed for me. I am very pleased with this :)
Also my roomba shipped today, so hopefully that will keep my carpets clean and I will live somewhat more like an adult. A bit.

I'm head down from SEA to SFO in November now that I have my on-call schedule. Its going to be a kind of quick trip, heading down on the 21st (at 6am) and heading back on the 22nd (at 8pm), but hopefully I'll get a chance to visit some of the old Waterloo folk while I'm down ( Read more... )

I picked up a calling card from the grocerry store for $5. The voice quality was excellent. Sadly it only worked for 8 minutes :(

I found a bunch of seattle rave type events so I bought tickets to them. Since I'm not so good at keeping track of things I put them in a calendar. Google calendar kind of fails at events that start at 9 and end at 2am ( Read more... )

Forgot to write down I'm going to go get glasses today. I'm safe to drive without them (yays!) but the eye doctor person said it would be more awesome times for reading text on the computer screen so like good times FTW

And I gets some monies back for much happyness. Which reminds me, I need to start saving money other wise I'm going to be screwed next tax season (two co-op terms, both only deducting American expected taxes :P ).

I'm not really what I would consider an environmentalist, but it seems pretty convincing. I guess I'll stop being such a hobo about stuff like recycling, but I'm allready pretty cheap with the heat (as my grand mother says :P).
