So, in news of awesome I got accepted to google summer of code for my plan to write scheme bindings for subversion. All The Code just got approved for some funding. The terms & conditions are a bit wierd, so I'm going to have to look over them. In addition there are some other people I should probably get back too. I just spent just under $200 on books (bah!). I picked up CLRS, Thinking in C++, and Sipser. I know I'm going to enjoy reading them (its been a long time since I just sat down and read a technical book, but $200 is a lot of money.
