Conference week, so another exhausting 12 hour work day. 2 Down, 2 to Go, and a Staff Ride on Friday.

Also! Ghost Story finally came out! To bad I'm too busy and exhausted to read it.

So, I’ve been back for a little over a sennight, and clearly I was much more productive in posting while overseas on hiatus then in my own home. The Staff Ride went well, albeit a little curtailed because of the massive storm that blew in. The temperature (according to NOAA) was a balmy 94F, though I suspect it was up around 97-99+F most of the day with the heat index. Well, the conference apparently went well. We had no major complaints or hiccups so everyone seems to be fairly pleased with themselves. The speakers and panels were informative and interesting, though there were a number who simply read their papers which is not encouraged. Overall though it was good.
