 I got to work this morning early hoping to print my afore mentioned htlm code and discovered that my email had corrupted the file.  So, I spent the next hour attempting to re-do the assignment.  Then I made my first attempt at ordering office supplies from Staplesand instead of ordering 2 boxes of green pens and 2 boxes of purple ( Read more... )

Last week I hinted that I may have a big announcement to make!!! Yay!!! Today it is official! I received a promotion in the Women and Gender Studies Department.  My new position is as an Office Assistant Sr.  It may not sound prestigious but here is why it is a big deal:

I have a tuition waiver. (Tuition now costs $75 a semester)

I've been at the Bookstore four years and never received a raise. Should I ask for one?

So, today is my first official day at my new job. I don't want to jinx things but so far all is well. i haven't really made any mistakes and I even have learned a thing or two.
