2005 Year in Review!!!
I celebrated 05 with friends at a Bar...I was the designated driver needless to say I didn't have much fun.
In January I moved from apartment 419 to apartment 808. I meet my new roommate
katethebug and had the bestest view of Tempe ever!!!
The Spring semester of School was awesomeness!!! I made tons of new friends, loved my classes, and even wrote my senior thesis!
Moved out of 808 and in to
key_change's house.
In May I went to Europe with Lauren. We traveled, saw sites and ate our way through 5 countries!
The Summer was spent with friends working and being lazy. It was my first summer with out school in 10 years. A well deserved break if you ask me.
Went to vegas twice. Once with Erik and
key_change, and once with
scarybunnylady, to see Avenue Q and celebrate our fabulousness.
Thanks to
pinguino9303 I procured a job with the Women and Gender Studies department and within weeks was promoted to a staff position with benefits and more money! Let's hear it for being in the right place at the right time!
I quit the bookstore and I don't miss it at all. Although, I do miss seeing my friends who are yet to escape that hell.
Went to the FMF Human Rights conference. Learned alot and felt empowered as an activist.
Graduated and applied to Graduate Schools! Let's hope someone accepts me.
Had a dramatic Christmas, got the Flu, and looked back on all of the wonderful things this year has brought.
Relationships(Romantic/Sexual) = 2
Heartbreaks = 0
New Friends = too many to count
Goals accomplished = 3
* my thesis, graduating, paying of on third of my debt.
Resolutions for next year = 5
*Be healthy
*take the same 50 book challenge as
greeniezona
*volunteer more
*pay off 50% of debt
*remember how lucky I am every day!
