Very happy to receive a response and a date for them to meet, Lexi made her way at 10 minutes after 6 O'clock, down from her room and to the portrait. She indeed had been missing him dreadfully, and could only hope that he was as well. Lexi still had the knack of worrying every day they didn't see each other; they say absense makes the heart grow fonder -- but who the bloody hell was "they", anyway!?

Having put on a nice sweater and actually fussing with her hair to make it look pretty, Lexi finally was ready. She walked through the portrait and came out to the yelling of "Just shut it, will ye!".

"Gee, I haven't even said anything yet." She remarked to her boyfriend in a sarcastic tone, knowing well that he wasn't speaking to her, but finding it cutely amusing anyway. She was sure to have a smile on her face while she faked an exasperated look, to let Julian be sure that she was just kidding around with him.

Julian had not meant for Lexi to hear him. In fact, as she exited the the common room, and responded to the comment that wasn't meant for her, Julian looked horrified. "Ohh, Lexi!" He said, rather frustrated. "The woman is the portrait hassles me!" To that, the Fat Lady yelled at him some more, but Julian couldn't seem to hear it. After all, he was too busy paying attention to Lexi ( ... )

Lexi leaned against the side wall outside the portrait with a slight smirkk on her face, listening to Julian's explanation. The Fat Lady then made another remark, which she indeed heard, but just sent her a quick stern look. She then glanced back and stood up straight as Julian walked over and put his arms around her. She gladly returned the gesture, missing that warm feeling against her ( ... )

She didn't have to thank him, it wasn't only a compliment meant to make her feel good. It was the truth - the fact that his girlfriend was that pretty struck him so hard that he had to mention outloud. But he smiled anyway, and with another kiss on the tip of her nose, he responded, "You're welcome ( ... )
