It had really been ages since they had had a proper picnic (not that this one was exactly going out to be outside on the grass), and he missed it. He had perfected his Jumer - now it didn't look like blood - and he wanted Lexi, having been the first one that mattered to try it, to test the new version. It had only been a minor adjustment, and he found that the drink had lost none of it's flavor. Thank goodness.
Pacing outside of her common room, Julian found himself to only be slightly nervous. Sure, he was always nervous when he saw Lexi, but since they had started dating, things seemed less stressful. He was completely unable to see the logic in this, but he never needed logic to justify anything. And, she said that she missed him dreadfully, or something like that. If that didn't boost his self esteem, nothing ever would.
He had gotten a little help from on of his mates, and he had fixed up a room for him and Lexi. Of course, it wasn't amazing, but the thought that maybe she would appreciate it. He already had everything set up, so he waited, getting hassled by the Fat Lady. Last time he was out here, she bothered him then too. "Just shut it, will ye!" He yelled, finally agitated.
