Very happy to receive a response and a date for them to meet, Lexi made her way at 10 minutes after 6 O'clock, down from her room and to the portrait. She indeed had been missing him dreadfully, and could only hope that he was as well. Lexi still had the knack of worrying every day they didn't see each other; they say absense makes the heart grow fonder -- but who the bloody hell was "they", anyway!?

Having put on a nice sweater and actually fussing with her hair to make it look pretty, Lexi finally was ready. She walked through the portrait and came out to the yelling of "Just shut it, will ye!".

"Gee, I haven't even said anything yet." She remarked to her boyfriend in a sarcastic tone, knowing well that he wasn't speaking to her, but finding it cutely amusing anyway. She was sure to have a smile on her face while she faked an exasperated look, to let Julian be sure that she was just kidding around with him.

Julian had not meant for Lexi to hear him. In fact, as she exited the the common room, and responded to the comment that wasn't meant for her, Julian looked horrified. "Ohh, Lexi!" He said, rather frustrated. "The woman is the portrait hassles me!" To that, the Fat Lady yelled at him some more, but Julian couldn't seem to hear it. After all, he was too busy paying attention to Lexi ( ... )

Lexi leaned against the side wall outside the portrait with a slight smirkk on her face, listening to Julian's explanation. The Fat Lady then made another remark, which she indeed heard, but just sent her a quick stern look. She then glanced back and stood up straight as Julian walked over and put his arms around her. She gladly returned the gesture, missing that warm feeling against her ( ... )

She didn't have to thank him, it wasn't only a compliment meant to make her feel good. It was the truth - the fact that his girlfriend was that pretty struck him so hard that he had to mention outloud. But he smiled anyway, and with another kiss on the tip of her nose, he responded, "You're welcome ( ... )

Lexi chuckled as they rushed down the corridors, like on a secret rendevous. "Thank you, Julian." She said with a bright smile over to him, her hand in his. She found it so unbelievably sweet that he was always worried for her and she could imagine him sitting by her bed every night until she felt better, if she were to become ill once more. "I'm feeling just fine now."

Another turn around the corner and they seemed to have reached their destination. Lexi peeked inside as Julian opened the door and she was pleasently surprised to see a version of an outdoor garden. An indoor picnic! Her mouth opened slightly in a gasp as she did a little circle in her spot, taking a look at everything around her. Grinning, she turned back to her boyfriend, "Oh, Julian... it's beautiful." She spoke, wrapping her arms around him with a sweet kiss.

"Good," he said turning to smile at her. "But you would tell me?" he asked slightly concerned. Julian wasn't exactly sure how he would break into Gryffindor Tower, let alone the girl's dorms, but he knew he would find a way. Sure, Lexi was friends with Jackie who aspired to be a healer - but she had a life and more important things to tend to. He had nothing better to do, honestly. Ill loved ones were on the top of his priority list ( ... )
