Things to note:

· I'm 39 now. This is a very good thing, and sure beats the alternative. I had clinicals the actual day, and then I followed it up with the traditional Japanese dinner with friends. Four years, Portland.

I've been resident here four years.

Lots happened. Things have changed.

I submitted my nursing school admissions applications last week. I decided to go with the three local community college programs, which all are members of the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education. If I get into one of the two-year JC programs, I'd get to take a third year at OHSU and earn a BSN ( Read more... )

I do not have the stamina for semesters.

I am just so ready to be done with this stuff already.

We started in August. We're not done until the middle of December. That's just wrong.

There are things the semester system is fantastic for, no doubt. Preserving my patience and sanity is not one of them, however.
