Yesterday I went to see The New Mikado with my roommate (It's de-Japanese'd so that the problematic bits of it are mostly non-existent). It was pretty amusing. It was a weekend. I didn't get as much as I wanted to done, no painting at all because the tiger was still a little tacky and I couldn't be bothered to start something new. I had an...odd weekend. Friday I had plans. They were cancelled due to excessive annoyance at the universe. This was okay as I was very, very tired and ended up snoring at 9:30. Plans were bumped to Saturday.

We had our holiday party at work on Friday. It wasn't bad, this year they provided wine. Which made up quite handily for being at work when I was still feeling icky. Once again there wasn't nearly enough food, however...they provided each table with three main courses, one meat, one salmon and one vegetarian with enough slices on each to give each ( Read more... )

I forgot to mention that there was someone wandering around Dicken's faire in a tree costume. I surprisingly did NOT get hit when I commented, "There goes a real fir suit."
