Rise and Shine!
So I have no clue what I did on that Friday... oh wait I believe I went shopping so I could do my nails all fancy. Yeah, that sounds right. Chris was up at Mount Washington skiing, so we headed down to Victoria together on Saturday. It was a bit of a production, there was a bad accident on the Malahat. So we waited in line for an hour, turned around to take the Shawnigan route and eventually gave up and headed back to the Gensey household for a few hours, had spaghetti and then headed out. Then it was a week of sleeping in, and playing video games and having fun. My reading break! Which I ended up spending entirely in Victoria, accidentally haha. My mom happened to filling in at her friend's store that week so I couldn't get a ride home at all. But I had a lot of fun, and probably got a taste of what my life will be like when I'm back (save for the times I'm away for my horrible load of 3 or 4 classes) Plus I also got to watch the last week of the olympics with Chris... I think I'm blurring weeks together here. Oh well. In the past few weeks this all happened haha.
In my classes my persuasive speech has come and gone, I couldn't decide what to talk about so I just read my persuasive essay from English last semester. My persuasive essay being about none other than, Tom. So I just grabbed a bunch of pictures off of the facebook and my hard drive and had a slide show going on behind me as I read. By the by, I am never reading my own writing out loud again [the only exception being the ultimate dream of best selling author where people pay out the nose in order to hear such a thing ;) ] I felt like I should have known what was coming more than I did, either way I stumbled a lot and it was just bad. I probably only got a B-, which at UVic sounds bad but in this class the lowest we can get is a C I think haha... best class ever seriously. In script writing I got my play back, I got an A- on it wheee ^-^ I'm mildly worried that I won't continue my streak of doing so well back at UVic and that it's just the more gentle environment of VIU that's allowing me to do so well but we'll see how it goes next year.
Now I'm just packing up so that I can head down for another fun filled weekend and some wacky hijinx *touches nose* haha, bet a bunch of you guys just did that! Totally got you. Anyways, I'm going to sleep in my clothes so I can sleep as long as I want before getting up much earlier than I'd like to. I'm just packing up a few last things, since last time I forgot to bring socks... also I have a surprise for someone who probably won't read this before I give it to them! Suspenseful I'm sure. Well good night all, and good morning to some haha... I'm off to get a few hours of sleep before stumbling to the car and heading down to suddenly be awake and ready for fun.
