It's now official -- President Bush and other top members of his administration flat out lied to the American pulic about Iraq in order to send our soldiers to war in that nation. As a result, I have no reservations about how I have "enhanced" the truths expressed in the following article that documented this exposé in the press yesterday.

The short version of this story is that the White House has spent 1.3 TRILLION dollars on funding the war in Iraq and that the National Debt and while likely surpass $10 trillion -- that's thirteen zeros -- by the time Bush leaves office.

I was flipping channels late Saturday night when I came across C-SPAN footage of the Republican Party Straw Poll that occurred in Iowa earlier that day. If your curious, Mitt Romney had the most votes, followed by former Arkansas Governer Mike Huckabee in second place, and Kansas Senator Sam Brownback rounding out the field in third place
