Steph had better know I love her because I am doing something for her that I wouldn't normally do. Which is going to see a very popular movie on opening week. Opening night no less.
Normally I avoid these things like the plague and refuse to go in the first week.
But we'll have fun all the same.
There will also be sushi.

Weekend was good.
Friday night was home alone with bad TV.
Saturday was breakfast and word games with Jessie who I hadn't seen in forever. Then wandering the town with Anthony, then more bad TV.
Sunday was walking about North Van with Anthony and buying a knife.

Early morning this AM thanks in part to a freaky movie last night. Anthony's on a Japanese horror kick and as a consequence, so am I.

Takashi Miike is a mindfuck. Seriously, if you're looking for the weirdest movies ever, anything he was involved in is probably a good bet. We watched "Gozu" last night and I have never ever seen a more random movie EVER. 2 movies I saw recently:

The Cure Scared the crap out of me and made me happy with it's ingenious use of not-jumping-things-out-of-nowhere. Watch it.

Ju-Rei Didn't scare as much crap out of me and wasn't as good as The Cure (those two facts are unrelated) but was good nonetheless.
