"Voting is the one tool we have to effect change."

That is my most hated sentence right now.
It is A tool, but it's a rather weak one as far as how much change it can effect. It relies on convincing enough people to give up enough of their own decision-making power to one person they don't know. It then relies on that person effecting change in a ( Read more... )
