I've been over to Derbyshire today, to the village where I spent the first 14 years of my life, to attend the final service of the chapel where I went to Sunday School, where I was Christened, where my parents got married. The chapel is now down to a very small number and the decision was made in February that it should close and be sold ( Read more... )

I got my card and pin this morning from the Home Access Grant people, and after I'd been into town and done the jobs I needed to do there, including my cleaning in the church hall, I walked round to Comet on the retail park and procured the new laptop without having to pay a penny!
