This past week was spent at the beautiful Outer Banks area. We stayed at Avon in the cutest little two story circular house right off the beach. Jakob called the house the "lighthouse house" because it sort of looked like a house and we've been telling him for months that we're going to lighthouses when we go to the beach.

Today is our wedding anniversary. We ended up celebrating Saturday by having lunch and taking a tour of Shaker Village without the boys. It was nice to be able to look around and just be together without having to be mommy, not that I mind being mommy. It's a great job. But its nice to just be Robin for a few moments too.

Last week Hilary was on spring break but unfortunately, he spent a lot of time in bed with an ear infection. Although, we did get a chance to go on a date for our anniversary and take the kids to the Louisville Zoo with my parents. We posted some pictures.

I'm back from my trip to Gatlinburg with Craig and Julie. We had a great time and pictures will soon follow. Hilary and I are thinking about taking up hiking now. We went on a very small, very simple .3 mile hike to Cataract Falls. There were so many different hikes to take. Eventually, we want to work up to the Appalachian Trail. I'm doing pretty well with Kingdom Hearts. I guess I'm wrong about video games being the decay of minds. I've actually learned some problem solving and logic or rather learned that I lacked in those areas.
