The floors are now done: three rooms' worth of hardwood repairs, sanding, staining, and resealing done. It looks fabulous. My one beef is that there are a number of dimples in the seal, I suspect due to dust. They sanded and vacuumed between coats, and I'm suspecting the vacuum could have been a bit more thorough than it was ( Read more... )

This morning, the kids I've hired for some outside lawn work reported sighting a bobcat. Wish I'd been able to see it, but happily it disappeared in a flash as soon as it realized humans were nearby.
