Housefilking the crow book review
Thank you Alice, for hosting a fun housefilk last night! Much music and laughter.
A couple of followups from the evening - the website we were talking about re: romance novels is http://www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com/
(I love the website! I have no interest in the genre, but the reviews are a hoot and there's an amazing amount of great information on writing and publishing)
Totally unrelated to filk: Our yard crows have a food-begging fledgling. Rather late, dontcha think? He's been getting attention from our resident female Cooper's Hawk for some reason. This will be interesting if she decides to tackle him.
Now, back to restoring the house, hauling furniture out of the temporary-storage-spots and back to where it belongs. It's starting to look like a house again, and we had some productive discussions on plans for the living room.
