I had a dream the other night that my mom came back. I have these pretty often. It's like she was just gone for a really long time and suddenly came back. Mother's Day is always one filled with mixed feelings. I'm so happy to be a mother. My husband and kids are so sweet to me. And yet I find myself closing off my mind and my heart, so I don't have to feel pain. So I don't have to cry. Because I will always, always miss my mom.
