I've never had a real surgery before besides getting my wisdom teeth taken out, so yesterday's D&C was a new experience for me. I was actually looking forward to being completely knocked out. Wow, this past weekend was EPIC! Seriously. I guess it all started Monday. Evan had a stomach virus Monday night. Puking and diarrhea. The next day, Andrew's dad and brother Caleb (who just got back from Korea) came to visit and took Evan back with them. He wasn't completely better at that point, but he was mostly better. Whew... i'm exhausted. Lauren had a doctor's appointment at 8:30 this morning, so that was fun getting all of us out the door. My nephews were great. I'm hungry. This losing weight stuff is harder than I remember... I've been at the same weight for 3 weeks now. I'm too WEAK! Sweets taste so goooood... I did buy me some fat free pudding. You know what's absolutely awesome? Watching my little boy figure out life. I watched his face as he watched me make "ooo" and "aaah" sounds. Then I watched him try to move his mouth in the same way I did. And now I get to hear him making those sounds and being so proud of himself.
