I've never had a real surgery before besides getting my wisdom teeth taken out, so yesterday's D&C was a new experience for me. I was actually looking forward to being completely knocked out. So when they went into surgery, they found that it wasn't another stricture but an adhesion--which meant that they didn't have to cut into the intestines but on the outside of it... SOOooo we wouldn't have to wait so long for her to eat again since her intestines didn't have to heal. woot ( Read more... )
