The snow blower refused to turn over this morning, so I shoveled by hand. One of our neighbors has two snow blowers and a tendency to clear the sidewalks up and down the street in addition to his own property. He tried to get my snow-blower to turn over to no avail.

I've had a hacking cough for the last five or six weeks. Yesterday I went to the doctor, as I was sick of the cycle. While at the doctor's office I learned my last flu shot was BEFORE the current formulation came out, and when I went to get my DTaP a year or two ago, there was a mix-up and I only got the DT shot. The roof is leaking. Specifically it's leaking where the roof meets the chimney. It looks like I need the flashing redone and some work done on the chimney itself. It's not in the best shape.

My cell phone just rang. The number was listed as "Unknown". I answered the call. After a few seconds of silence I heard a vaguely female, computer generated voice say, "Please die."

I just broke the glass carafe to the small French Press I use at work. This is about about the fourth time I've done this. Admittedly, this is four times in four years, but these things are supposed to last longer than that.
