I'm in trouble. Caleb saw a statute of Santa on the way to school and I called him a myth.
"Oh, like Fishtronaut?"

He's now determined to tell his friends Santa isn't real.

I tried to explain why this was a bad idea and he kinda got it. I eventually told him about krumpus in an effort to give him something to talk about other than "Santa isn't real."

Last night while waiting for the bus I saw something I didn't expect to see in Quincy. A young woman was waiting for the bus, and she has an interesting tattoo. Subtext is everything

The other day, Caleb had a small cut on one of his fingertips. During dinner while eating he looked up after taking a bite and announced, "Oh no! I nommed my fingers and it hurt!"

We asked if he'd bitten himself and he replied, "No, but I nommed my finger where it's cut and it hurt!"

In a very amusing way:

She buys a five foot tall metal chicken as a result of an argument about towels.

She also has insomnia, was prescribed interesting drugs for it, and tried to make a water bed for cats using only Ziploc baggies. I was on the verge of tears when I got to her tweets about trying to get a cat to use the waterbed.

Monday was a true Monday. I got into the office and the floor squelched. The carpet was soaked as a result of the air conditioner leaking all weekend. To make a long story short I spent the day moving things off the floor and reconfiguring my work area so the two PCs I need for my job could function again.
