LJ Idol voting closes today, and this week is a "team vs. team" result, where the team not in first place is going to lose one or two members. My team is fantastic, so I'm hoping not to lose anyone. Voting for all team members here would really help, if you're so inclined.

We watched The Tall Guy with our son last night, mainly because we felt he really needed to see the glorious satire that is Elephant! (The Musical). I was out bicycling early enough on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to keep from overheating (highs of 96-102 all three days), and Sunday I actually ran all 5 of my target miles-for the first time in a month. Hot, hot weekend. Yesterday was in the low 90s (I ended the morning's 5-mile run right at 3.9 miles, because it was suddenly clear I was done). Today was 96o, and felt hotter because it was a little muggy.
