I had gum graft surgery yesterday. I'd had it about 9 years ago for a different part of my mouth, but that was with a general anaesthetic. I hadn't fully considered what local anaesthesia would mean.

Actually, these all happened on Saturday. Hoo, what a day...

#1) Yellow jacket sting on the upper chest (incurred while bicycling, AS ALWAYS).
#2) Extra sting around the side of the waist (same insect as above. That's how I know it wasn't a honeybee).
