When Glitch woke up, he was pretty sure he'd been bigger when he went to sleep. He was also missing a big shiny zipper in his skull, and when he could count up to two hundred and thirty eight in multiples of seventeen, he decided he probably had his full brain in there too.

He didn't know how long he'd had the hot air balloon finished, which wasn't all that surprising, but the fact he hadn't even tested it out was. It'd been strewn around the side of the Homestead for months now, and was close enough to the firepit that tying the parachute-turned-balloon down and heating the air inside wasn't particularly difficult.
