I've just started binge-watching "Call the Midwife."  My husband and son are somewhat disgusted.  I'm loving it.

Small Boy and I have been watching "Resurrection" on Sunday nights. The concept is that a child who died 30 years ago shows up out of the blue as if it's the next day. Then bit by bit other loved ones from this small town start showing up none-the-worse for having died years ago.

I finished the 5th episode while I Nordic-tracked this morning.  I've never combined weeping with aerobic exercise before.

I used to watch episodes of the Daily Show while I NordicTrack, but they are ALL about the Presidential election these days.  100% wall to wall partisan politics.  I have less than zero interest in watching his opinions of other people's opinions.  I want something diverting that could make me laugh, I want to be able to pull it up on hulu, and 22 ( Read more... )

I just wanted to take a moment to be happy about this.  I sometimes find myself bitching about stuff and realize that I focus on the bad stuff too much.  Why not focus on the good stuff?

Someone asked me this today.  It was a preface to discussing a car commercial.  "You know that car commercial where..." and I looked puzzled so she stopped and said, "Do you watch TV?"  I was unable to answer this.  I think I do.  But apparently I don't.  For one thing, I hadn't seen that commercial.
